Boarding schools · Switzerland

Websites for boarding and international schools in Switzerland.

For boarding and international schools, and the summer and winter camps that often come first, from Lake Geneva and the Alps to Zurich, Zug, Graubünden and Ticino. A website that gives a family anywhere in the world reason to trust you with their child, and lets them book the interview in their own language and time zone.

The highlights.

  • A day at school, hour by hour. As your child will live it.

  • An admissions concierge in six languages. Day and night, on each family’s time.

  • Four programmes, with ages and fees in view. And one clear recommendation.

  • A visit, a video call or a presentation in your city. The family chooses.

  • Booking happens in the family’s own time zone. In short steps, with no long forms.

Families decide from far away.

Families choose a boarding school from abroad, often months in advance. They compare schools from Shanghai or São Paulo, come back to your website several times and read it when they can: in their own language, on their own clock, not your admissions office’s.

And two people decide. The parents, who pay and choose, and the student, who has to want to go. Parents read about the academic programme, the outcomes, the pastoral care and the fees. The student wants to see an ordinary Tuesday: the boarding house, the food, the sport, the friends. A website that speaks to only one of them loses the family.

In the end there is one question: will my child be all right here? Your website has to answer it before anyone else does: who looks after them at night, who cares for them if they fall ill, how and when their parents will hear from them. What a family entrusts to you in writing matters too: an admissions file may include health information, which Swiss data protection law treats as sensitive personal data.

What your website has to solve.

  1. Trust, with names.

Parents want to know who lives with the students in each boarding house, who cares for a child who falls ill and how the school keeps young people safe. Your staff, by name, and your safeguarding policy, in plain sight.

  2. Two readers, one website.

Parents look for the academic programme and the outcomes; the student, for what an ordinary day there feels like. Each finds their part without wading through the other’s.

  3. Clear fees.

What a year costs and what it includes, from boarding to trips and extras. A family that has to email for the price keeps comparing while waiting for the answer.

  4. Admissions on their clock.

The admissions calendar and its deadlines, easy to find. And the visit or interview booked on the website, each slot shown in the family’s local time, with Swiss time beneath.

  5. Each family’s language.

English first, then the languages your families speak, Simplified Chinese included. Each version written as if it were the original.

  6. Camps, the front door.

For many families, a summer or winter camp is their first contact with the school. Dates, ages, places and price, bookable online, and a clear path from the camp to a full school year.

How I build it.

  1. Script before design.

We decide together what each family, and each student, must understand and do on every page, and I write it down before drawing anything.

  2. Bespoke design.

No templates. The website grows out of your campus and your approach to education, not out of a catalogue.

  3. Interviews and AI Concierge.

With Signature + AI Concierge, an assistant answers families in six languages, day and night, books visits and interviews into the admissions diary and hands your team a ready summary. It makes no admissions decisions.

  4. Fast on mobile.

All three of Google’s Core Web Vitals in the green, measured on mobile before delivery.

  5. Hosted in Switzerland.

On servers in Switzerland, under Swiss data protection law. Admissions forms that comply with the nFADP and the GDPR and ask only for what is needed.

  6. One point of contact.

Your head of school and your admissions team work with me directly, from the first call to launch.

The same home page on a phone.

Collège Vaurel is an imaginary school, created to show the standard: co-educational, for ages 11 to 18, on the shore of Lake Geneva, with an Alpine campus in winter. Clear fees, an admissions calendar, interviews booked in each family’s local time and an AI concierge in six languages, Chinese included.

Where to begin.

Everything begins with a study that is deducted afterwards: the diagnostic or, if you only want to automate the website you already have, the automation assessment. Then comes the service your school needs.

Questions

What I am often asked.

If your question is not here, we will answer it in the diagnostic call.

Should we publish our fees on the website?

In most cases, yes. A family comparing boarding schools from abroad wants to know what a year costs and what it includes before writing to you. We decide the level of detail together, from full fees to what each programme includes.

How does a family abroad book an interview?

On the website, in their own language. Each slot appears in their local time, with Swiss time beneath, and the appointment goes straight into the admissions diary, confirmed by email. Nobody has to work out the time difference.

Does the AI Concierge decide who is admitted?

No. It answers practical questions about programmes, fees, dates and school life, books visits and interviews, and qualifies each enquiry by age, entry date, programme and language. Admissions decisions always rest with your team.

Where is student and family data stored?

The website is hosted on servers in Switzerland, and its forms ask only for what is needed. If it includes the AI Concierge, I set out in writing which services are involved and where they process the data before it is switched on.

Which languages can the website be in?

Your families’ languages. English almost always; then French around Lake Geneva, German in Zurich, Zug or Graubünden, and Italian in Ticino. And Simplified Chinese, with its own typography and its own price and date formats.

Can it include our summer and winter camps?

Yes, and they deserve care: for many families they are the first contact with the school. Dates, ages, programme and places, bookable online, with a clear path to the full school year.

How much does it cost?

A Web Signature starts at CHF 20,000, and with the AI Concierge at CHF 32,000, at a fixed price with 50/30/20 payments. If what you need fits into fewer pages, Web Essential starts at CHF 13,000, to the same standard. First comes the Strategic Diagnostic, at CHF 3,500, which is deducted in full.

Families trust you with their children. First, they trust your website.

Start with the Strategic Diagnostic. I study your website, your competitors and how families find you, then we go through it together in a 50-minute call.
